This website is owned and operated by Vintage LR Co Ltd. These are the Company Terms and Conditions to which the use of the website, e-commerce service and all other services are subject to, whether accessed online, via telephone consultation and in person.

We reserve the right to modify these terms from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore, you should review this page periodically.

It is the customers responsibility to read the Terms and Conditions on each occasion; a purchase is required; a services is used and prior to your making a commitment to buy it. You, the customer enters into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process.

Entering into this purchase/payment process and the acceptance to receive goods will signify your acknowledgement of, your understanding and acceptance to be bound by our Company’s latest Terms and Conditions.



All prices are in GBP Sterling and subject to VAT at the current rate of 20% on all items for customers in the UK. Prices listed or quoted are based upon costs prevailing at the time when posted on the website or communicated as a verbal agreement. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. Additional information about pricing and sales tax is available on the payments page.

e-commerce - VAT will automatically be calculated within the Checkout page before you submit your order. Vintage LR Co Ltd will confirm receipt of your order using the email address you supply when registering on our website. This email is only an acknowledgement and does not constitute legal acceptance by us of your order.

Telephone or in person transaction - VAT will be given to you verbally and added onto your final invoice along with any agreed carriage costs.

We may, without prior notice, change the services; stop providing the services or any features of the services we offer; or create limits for the services. We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend access to the services without notice and liability for any reason, or for no reason.

Vehicle Storage: 

Our vehicle storage service covers a vehicle as a whole. Any item/part removed from or stored within, is done so at the owners risk and is not our responsibility. If an owner wishes to store items within a vehicle, photographic evidence should be taken by the owner and a clear descriptive list must be made for each item. This pictorial and written evidence should them be sent to

If you wish to take a vehicle out of storage, an email request will need to be made. We require a minimum of 48 working hours notice. Working hours are Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm. Collection of stored vehicles can only be done within these working hours. 

If alternate collection times or days are needed, these other appointments can be requested and arranged by email, again with at least 48 working hours notice. 


All goods and delivery costs must be paid for in full in GBP Sterling before goods, any vehicles or other parts upon which services have been performed are released to the customer/buyer. Method of payments (for goods/services outside of our e-commerce) is clearly listed on each Invoice issued.


Please inspect all items upon delivery for any damage, fault or errors.

Under normal circumstances, available stock items will be dispatched within 36hrs (excluding weekends) of receiving your order. We aim to deliver your purchase within 3-5 days. 

Unless otherwise stated, the buyer is solely responsible for the cost of delivery. Delivery costs are shown within the check out area on our E-commerce or where otherwise applicable, delivery costs will be shown separately on a customer Invoice.

Delivery costs are product specific, based on the weights of the items ordered.

Once an order is with the Courier, they will communicate with you regarding your delivery, via text message.

On the day of delivery, the Courier will send a text message specifying a two-hour window for the delivery.

Tracking information is also provided by the Courier, enabling you to track, trace and gain delivery updates directly.

Heavy Items: We don't recommend putting items such as Bulk Heads or Exhausts in the post. Postage for such heavy items is £150 if we need to post, however we would recommend that you collect from us personally.

Any queries relating to items delivered or non-delivery of goods ordered should be communicated with Vintage LR Co Ltd within 3 working days of stated completed delivery date, as per the Courier services.

Overseas Sales:

Shipping rates from the UK to different countries are variable, therefore for purchases from outside the UK will not be charged for shipment via the Online store.

Once shipping costs are calculated we will email international customers to confirm the amount.

Shipping quotes are valid for 7 days only. If a customer has not confirmed that they want to progress with shipping within this 7 days, cost may fluctuate from time of initial quote. When 7 days have passed another quote will be sought for the customer.


Shipping costs can now be paid by buying our shipping tokens in our online shop. These tokens can be bought online to cover the amount quoted by us, you no longer have to make a BACS transfer.  If you have been quoted a shipping cost of £19 then please buy, for example, one of the £10 tokens, one £5 and four £1 tokens, note your original order number in the cart section. 

If following an oversea online order /purchase the customer does not want to proceed with quoted shipping cost then the order can be cancelled by the overseas customer, and we will refund the value of the online order made. Refund transactions can take up to 5 working days to complete.

We will only deal with and request payment to cover shipping costs themselves. Import charges / duty or taxes may apply for delivery to some overseas countries. Any additional import charges / duty or taxes are not related to our business they are taxes determined by a destination country's own customs authority. The individual customer who has chosen to import items to their country must therefore take responsibility and pay these cost. 

In circumstances where a parcel goes missing in transit, Vintage LR Co will need to complete an investigation alongside the courier service and locate the items/ receive compensation for any loss, prior to us sending out a replacement item(s). 

VAT guidance:

If items are bought from outside the UK but are requested to be sent to a UK address, or collected from us directly, VAT must be paid on these items. If this VAT has not been charged on an original order, a VAT invoice will be sent to the customer prior to items being shipped within the UK or collected from the UK. 


All online purchases are at your own risk.

Should you however make a purchase and decide to then return it (prior to using the product), this can be done within 14 days of the date you receive it.

If a product has been used and / or fitted to a vehicle by the customer following purchase, then this will deem the product as non-returnable, unless the product is faulty.

For an item(s) to be returned, please immediately contact Vintage LR Co Ltd via, stating your name, order details, contact details and that you have a return product, along with a returns reason.

Return Costs: Return delivery costs for any unwanted items must be covered by the customer. Internationally, any additional duty costs etc incurred through a returned item(s) must also be covered by the customer.

Once we have been informed of your return (undamaged, unused & unwanted products) please simply return it with all included accessories, packaging and with proof of purchase. All products must be sent back in original condition, in original packaging and with proof of purchase,

All goods must also be suitably packed to avoid any breakages during transit to our premises.

You are welcome to choose a refund or exchange of equivalent value, which will be processed once we receive your returned item.


If you buy a Hood, confirmation of this purchase occurs once payment is made and your order confirmation is received via email. Delivery wait times may vary from 3-5day to 2-4weeks, dependent of our stock levels at the time of orders made. Following a Hood purchase, if your item is not in stock and there is likely to be a wait time greater than 5days we will aim to email to provide an estimated delivery date.

For Hood returns – if a Hood has been fitted but not exposed to outside elements it may still be returned. If a Hood has been fitted, used and exposed to outside elements it may NOT be returned. Please take care when folding a Hood for return. Please ensure each Hood is folded in the same way it was originally packaged. Incorrect folding can lead to canvas damage.


In the unlikely situation where a product you receive is damaged, faulty or delivered incorrectly please inform us immediately.

Please inspect items upon delivery for any damage, fault or errors.

Vintage LR Co Ltd are to be notified immediately should you identifying any issues.

Warranty dates start from the original invoice date, not date of use. Items are only under warranty when fitted and used for correct purpose.

When we receive a valid warranty claim for a product purchased from us, we will either repair the relevant defect or replace the product. If we are unable to repair or replace the product within a reasonable time, the customer will be entitled to a full refund upon the prompt return of the product to us. We will pay for shipment of repaired or replaced products to customer and customer will be responsible for return shipment of the product to us.
